Well UK is working with a range of partners, nationally, regionally and locally in the South West. From national bodies to local authorities and smaller local organisations; from primary care trusts to GP surgeries, school nurses and local communities; we are keen to create new partnerships and build on existing relationships. We include partners from the public, private and third sectors.

Set up with local GPs and members of the community. Using specially trained community mentors, the project identifies older, isolated people in rural mid Devon and encourages self-confidence, self-esteem and longer independence.

Strategic partners

Well UK works with strategic partners at all levels to win business in order to secure resources for local and regional delivery partners, where smaller organisations might be less effective working alone to win funding. We have successfully won major contracts in health and social care from a number of sources including the Department of Health, the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, and the Department for Work and Pensions.

Delivery partners

We work with local partners to deliver our funded programmes through high-quality projects that are genuinely embedded in the community. We work with these delivery partners to build capacity and raise standards, including guidance on project management, service delivery toolkits and quality assurance.
