Third Sector Consortium (3SC)
Winning major government contracts through a national consortium.
Partners include Community Foundation Network and National Housing Federation
3SC was founded in 2009 by the Social Investment Business (formerly Futurebuilders) as a national consortium to bid for major government contracts.
The 3SC vision, like Well UK's vision, is "to build a thriving partnership of third sector organisations to deliver public services and better serve the needs of individuals and local communities".
Well UK is represented on the Board of 3SC as one of ten Managing Partners, with a special interest in winning business for the South West. The first contract 3SC and Well UK have won is from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) for the Future Jobs Fund, to create jobs for young people.
Other 3SC partners include the Community Foundation Network, Children's Links, the National Housing Federation, Social Finance, the Eden Project, Clinks and QED.
