Future Jobs Fund Success for Young People
Between November 2009 and March 2010 Well UK created 96 new job opportunities across the South West.
More than four out of five completed their placement and of those over half had their contracts extended by their employers.
A survey of participating employees carried out by Well UK showed that:ALL respondents recorded a higher level of Overall Satisfaction at the end of their employment period.92% recorded feeling more confident at the end than they did at the start.88% felt their career prospects had improved and 76% felt they had developed a better understanding and awareness of their skills and how to apply them in the workplace.
A further 30 new jobs have been created since Nov 2010, currently 15 confirmed starts and the remainder will be in place by the end of Feb 2011.
